Bring an identity document and, if available, reports and results from previous examinations. If you use glasses or contact lenses, bring them with you.
We recommend arriving 15–20 minutes before your scheduled time so you can complete the necessary documents without rushing.
During your appointment, the doctor may need to dilate your pupils to examine the fundus. For several hours after the drops, light sensitivity, blurred vision and difficulty with close work may persist. During this time, driving is not recommended, and reading, computer work and phone use may be uncomfortable. In bright light, sunglasses are advisable.
